About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgery team. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, assisting surgeons, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients throughout surgical procedures. The role requires a strong understanding of surgical nursing principles and the ability to adapt to various surgical specialties. Training will be provided on-site for specific procedures like eyes and dental.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room / Surgery RN experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA.
- Electronic documentation knowledge.
- Completed ARN 101 training.
Nice To Haves
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through AHA.
- Certified preferred CAORN.
- Experience with Medi tech EMR.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room / Surgery setting.
- Assist surgeons during general surgery, neuro, spine, ortho, urology, eyes, and dental procedures.
- Perform electronic documentation of patient care.
- Participate in on-call duties, including weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Complete ARN 101 training.
- Adhere to facility protocols and standards of care.
