About The Position

This is a Full time benefited role as a circulating OR RN. You will be stationed at one of our 5 hospitals based on facility need within San Diego. This role will work variable day/mid shifts and take call. It includes new hire and relocation bonus up to $7K. Our Scripps System-wide Resource Services (SSRS) department supports the entire Scripps Health system. As a member of the resource team, you can fill vital roles on assignments throughout the system to provide critical coverage for employee’s leave of absences, sick calls, and peak service demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments. Join our Scripps SSRS team as a Registered Nurse where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. This includes the following: assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care. SYSTEM WIDE RESOURCE TEAM - Permanent Scripps employees who support long-term assignments, typically 12 weeks in duration. New Hire Retention Bonus is available for this position along with Relocation Assistance to those who qualify The following are not eligible for hiring incentives: · Internal candidates · Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met: · Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter) · Must remain in original department/specialty · Must remain in original Job Title · Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Requirements

  • 18 months recent RN Experience in an acute care inpatient hospital setting within Preop or PACU.
  • Current CA RN License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
