As an RN in the Pediatric Operating Room, you will deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and other invasive procedures across all stages of infancy and childhood. This role requires specialized clinical expertise to support a wide range of pediatric conditions, working closely with a highly skilled team dedicated to safe, high-quality surgical care in the operative setting. Our caregivers are specially trained and certified to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients, providing compassionate, family-centered care throughout the surgical experience. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- If performing moderate/procedural sedation must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Card (within 6 months of hire)
- One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
- Perform scrub and circulating functions.
- Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
