About The Position

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. This position will work 64 hours per pay period with 8 Hour Shifts during the Day Shift. Start Times can range from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. On Call Requirements are part of the Perioperative assignments which include: RN Circulator, RN PACU, RN Endoscopy (including Mod Sedation). Floating to Duluth surgery departments as needed following established guidelines (dual licensure MN/WI required). Qualified candidates may be eligible for a hiring incentive of up to $7,500 (ADN) and up to $10,000 (BSN).

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
Dual licensure MN/WI required for floating to Duluth surgery departments.
