About The Position

Corewell Health Troy Hospital, recognized for excellence and ranked #3 on Newsweek’s “World’s Best Hospitals” list, is seeking an RN Supervisor for its Nursing Resource Pool. This role involves working with a dynamic group of RNs, Nursing Assistants, and Sitters, collaborating across various hospital units to deliver exceptional patient care. The primary need is for a Night Shift Supervisor, with some flexibility in scheduling, though night coverage is a top priority. The Nurse Supervisor coordinates and organizes personnel and other resources to meet the patient care functions of the organization in a cost-effective manner. This includes collaborating on crisis management, interpreting policy and procedure, and assuring timely and effective communication and collaboration between individuals and departments. The Nurse Supervisor represents the organizational leadership across all venues on a 24-hour basis and collaborates to make decisions and act on behalf of the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Three years of relevant clinical nursing experience
  • One year of relevant formal nursing leadership experience for external applicants
  • One year of relevant demonstrated informal leadership experience for internal applicants, may include but are not limited to: Charge Lead Nurse, Charge Nurse responsibilities, leadership on behalf of unit/site/system at Shared Governance Council
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN)
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
