About The Position
Roland Park Place (RPP) is the only full-service, accredited nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Charm City and a leader in aging services for older adults and their families. RPP offers premier access to Baltimore City life coupled with the comfort and convenience of suburban living — all in a beautiful, landscaped, park-like setting with breathtaking city skyline views. Requirements
- Ability to uphold core values and follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to take initiative to always find a way to say yes to both residents and staff.
- Able to handle difficult or emotional situations shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences and adheres to the resident’s bill of rights.
- Able to work assigned schedules, have reliable transportation and be on time for scheduled shifts.
- Must have a positive attitude and be able to smile at all times.
- Must be currently licensed as an RN.
- Current CPR & first aid certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- 2-3 years previous experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents in the Long Term Care unit.
- Monitoring assignments of non-licensed associates.
- Overseeing activities of nursing services on assigned units.
- Resident rounds.
- Upkeeping all medical records.
- Maintaining infectious control standards.
- Monitoring nutritional status.
- Other duties as assigned.
