About The Position
We’re currently working with a children's hospital in Sacramento Area looking for experienced RN Supervisor (Peds) for per diem opportunities. Shifts Available : 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM CDT, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM CDT or 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM CDT (30 min break). Pay: $60.67 - $66.43 per hour.
Requirements
- Must have pediatric experience!!
- Must have 2 years of acute care pediatrics experience within your speciality within the last 5 years!!
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Active and unencumbered California Board of Registered Nursing RN License
- Active BLS Certification (AHA only)
- Active ACLS Certification Required in Peds, PICU, PACU, Peds Pre-Op, Peds OR
- Active PALS Certification Required in Peds, Med/Surg, PICU, PACU, Peds Pre-Op, Peds OR
- Hep B Series or Titer or Declination
- MMR Series or Titer
- Negative TB within last 12 months
- Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
- Varicella Series or Titer
- Physical within last 12 months
Responsibilities
- Manages the unit operations
- Independently and completely performs assessment and identifies appropriate nursing intervention and/or patient care standard
