About The Position
Join our growing hospital and lead a dynamic 25-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to support a high-performing team while remaining actively involved in patient care. Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities. Working closely with members from different professional fields to ensure coordinated patient care. Assessing how effective the nursing practices are and infusing practices and research discoveries that are evidence-based. Fostering a caring and outcome-promoting environment. Encouraging development and opening up growth opportunities for staff members. Efficiently managing resources to promote safety within the healthcare system.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- PCU experience required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Two (2) Years of Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
Nice To Haves
- Previous nursing leadership experience strongly preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for the PCU.
- Support quality, patient safety, staffing, and employee engagement.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff.
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to drive exceptional patient outcomes.
