About The Position

This role involves providing administrative and clinical leadership within the Med/Surg unit. The successful candidate will assist the Director in managing personnel and resources to ensure the highest quality of patient care. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, developing and implementing clinical education programs, and fostering a positive work environment to retain staff. The position also requires maintaining confidentiality of customer and employee information in compliance with HIPAA standards, participating in the development and evaluation of the Nursing Department's vision and goals, and managing clinical services for quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The role also includes staff selection, development, motivation, and evaluation.

Requirements

Current active RN license in the State of Ohio required.
Required to have 3-5 years of nursing experience and 2-3 years supervisory experience.
Current BLS and ACLS required.
Must be knowledgeable of Quality Assurance processes.
Must be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Responsibilities
