Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in acute or long term care
- Current and Active CA RN License
- Current BLS certification

- Previous experience in acute care adds tremendous value to our nursing team.
- Accountable and confident.
- Excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions with physicians, consultants and family advocates.
- Comfortable holding tough conversations, as you are responsible for the performance of your people and your unit.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care including patient’s plan of care, medication administration, responding to emergencies and supervising the nursing care on the unit.
- Ability to serve as leader and teammate.
- Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients.
- High level of engagement with the floor- visibly connecting with physicians, nurses, patients, and families.
- Monitor the efficiency of your department
- Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence with assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and others
