About The Position

Under the direction of the Service Line Administrator, this role has 24-hour responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) and the Structural Heart Service (SHS), and their effects on patient care. The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a care system for structural heart patients and their families throughout the care continuum. The role requires working both independently and in collaboration with the Structural Heart Co-Management Chair and other members of the health care team and management staff. The individual must be self-directed and self-motivated, planning and conducting work with minimal direction, and reporting work progress to the SLA and the Structural Heart Co-Management Council.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Three (3) years of relevant job-related experience
  • Current Florida RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

  • Master’s degree in nursing
  • Two (2) years of relevant management experience.
  • Structural heart experience.
  • Program development experience.
  • Performance improvement (PI) experience.
  • Program management experience (including structural heart program staff supervision and program marketing).
  • Expert clinical skills.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in cardiovascular nursing.
  • Expert case management skills.
  • Teaching skills.
