An Opportunity to Join our Remarkable Care as a RN awaits YOU!!!! Experienced Canadian Registered Nurses are encouraged to apply! Full-Time position scheduled 36 hours per week - 12-hour shifts, with a weekend rotation and holiday commitment. Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. Through several major expansions in the hospital, programs and services, Trinity Health Livonia continues to offer the latest in quality health and medical services. Trinity Health Livonia has received numerous awards recognizing excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance and efficiency. 3 South: This 40-bed Progressive Care Unit provides specialized care for stroke patients, along with other complex conditions such as congestive heart failure (CHF), NSTEMI, acute kidney injury (AKI), hypertension, and atrial fibrillation. This telemetry-equipped unit offers continuous cardiac monitoring and has the capability to manage cardiac drips and stable ventilator patients. Nurses in this unit are highly skilled in neurological assessments, cardiac care, and delivering comprehensive treatment in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Nursing required.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
  • BLS required.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
  • Previous medical surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe.
  • Coordinate and evaluate patient care.
  • Teach and delegate patient activities to other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
