Weekend Program Guidelines: Eligible participants must work 48 weekends per year, 24 hours per weekend (either two 12-hour or three 8-hour shifts per weekend), between the hours of Friday at 3 p.m. and Monday at 7 a.m. Weekend Program Benefits: Medical Benefits as per Full Time staff. Paid Short Term & Long-Term Disability. Tuition Reimbursement as per Full Time staff. PTO (Paid Time Off) accrued at full-time rate of .0769 per hour worked. Compensation: We offer competitive starting pay, with rates that reflect your nursing education and professional experience. UPMC Altoona RNs benefit from newly enhanced pay, with starting rates increasing by $4/hour, plus an additional $2 shift differential. Minimum starting pay rates: $35.50 (BSN) $34.00 (non-BSN) Your title and salary will be determined based upon education and nursing experience. Generous Sign-On Bonus: Sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 are available for eligible candidates who commit to a two-year work agreement
