Requirements

• Successfully completed Board Certified Nursing Program
• Current LA RN License required
• Current BLS and ALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off
• Must be able to work flexible hours and rotate call.

Responsibilities

• Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame and to provide care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
• Performs essential functions needed to carry out Stress Testing, Transesophageal Echo, Cardioversion, Tilt Table Testing, Holter Monitor Scanning, Bubble Study, & EKG.
• This employee will also take rotating call for weekend and holiday coverage.
