About The Position

We are currently hiring for an RN (Registered Nurse) for our main St Paul Clinic location. This position is a .9 FTE (72 hours/pay period), scheduled Monday - Friday, day shift. Previous experience in Neurosurgery is a plus. One (1) year of relevant RN experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred. Current RN License through MN Board of Nursing. This position exists to administer family-centered nursing care to patients, advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families.

Requirements

  • Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program)
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license through the MN Board of Nursing
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (exception: Telehealth RNs).
  • Must be interested in working with people with short-term or long-term disabilities that begin in childhood
  • Physically able to work hours required and meet physical demands of the position.

  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Able to complete accurate, thorough, specialty-based assessments
  • Basic keyboarding and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in Neurosurgery is a plus.
  • One (1) year of relevant RN experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
  • If candidate holds valid CPR through another acceptable organization (as determined by Gillette), candidate may be able to begin employment but must complete Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association within one month of employment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other healthcare related field
  • Prior nursing experience in a health-related setting
  • Nursing Specialty Certification relevant to the position (ex. Pediatrics, Palliative & Holistic Nursing, Care Management)
