About The Position

Logan Health in scenic Kalispell, MT, is looking for an experienced RN to guide patients through their cancer journey as our Oncology Nurse Navigator. You'll be the steady hand and trusted voice for patients and families from diagnosis through treatment — a relationship-driven role built on education, coordination, and compassionate follow-through. As the primary point of contact after a new cancer diagnosis, you'll reduce uncertainty, remove barriers to care, and make sure patients never feel alone.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana (required)
• One of the following (required): Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 4 years' experience, OR 6 years' experience in a related area
• Knowledge of professional practice standards and regulatory requirements for specialty care; experience with electronic health records
• Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and collaborate effectively with primary care and multidisciplinary teams

Nice To Haves

• Oncology or oncology-related experience (ambulatory experience a plus, not required)
• Four years' Oncology or Oncology related experience preferred.
• Oncology certification preferred, or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Conducting intakes and needs assessments for new oncology patients
• Educating patients and caregivers in person, by phone, and (soon) via telehealth
• Coordinating appointments, testing, scans, and follow-up needs
• Tracking patients across the care continuum and catching missed appointments or new needs
• Collaborating with providers, social workers, and scheduling staff as part of a close multidisciplinary team
• Using motivational interviewing to help patients reach their health goals
• Contributing to quality improvement projects that shape how we deliver cancer care
