About The Position

Join a growing Electrophysiology (EP) team and help build a regional Lead Management and Lead Extraction Program. No prior EP experience required, we're looking for strong cardiovascular nurses with excellent critical thinking skills and a passion for coordinating complex patient care. The EP RN Specialty Coordinator serves as the primary nursing contact for patients, referring providers, and interdisciplinary teams. This is an opportunity to become a clinical expert in a highly specialized area of cardiovascular medicine while helping build and grow a regional program. You'll work alongside nationally recognized electrophysiologists and multidisciplinary specialists while making a meaningful impact on patients with complex cardiac conditions. This role combines clinical expertise, patient advocacy, collaboration, and program development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • A minimum of three years related clinical nursing work experience required.
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary nursing contact for patients, referring providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provides individualized, age appropriate, culturally competent, goal-directed and family centered patient care to patients at the proficient level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.
  • Delivers safe and effective care and interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired results.
  • Contributes to unit leadership.
