M24 Special Delivery Unit features a dedicated operating room and triage area designed to care for complex obstetrical populations throughout the delivery experience. Nurses on this unit play an essential role in providing compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting families through one of life’s most meaningful moments. From admission through discharge, caregivers collaborate closely to ensure a safe, supportive, and exceptional experience for patients and their families. In this role, Registered Nurses work directly with patients, families, and visitors, building strong connections while providing education and guidance related to maternal and newborn care. The unit offers a highly collaborative environment where nurses partner with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality obstetrical care and support positive patient outcomes. We realize that flexibility is essential for many caregivers today. That’s why we offer a variety of PRN shift options including staggered start times, flexible shift lengths, and specialized assignments to fit your lifestyle. We’re proud to welcome experienced nurses into our caregiver family and are committed to providing the flexibility you need, no matter what life brings. A PRN caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend| 7:00am—7:30pm or 7:00pm—7:30am.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
  • External applicants must have two years recent related nursing experience
  • Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments
  • Will consider licensed military RN experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care.

  • Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
