With the latest state-of-the-art technology, the 2-bed M24 Special Delivery Unit offers an OR and triage area to serve complex obstetrical populations during delivery. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering new parents with exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, their families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply pediatric healthcare education as needed. That’s why we offer a variety of PRN shift options including staggered start times, flexible shift lengths, and specialized assignments to fit your lifestyle. We’re proud to welcome experienced nurses into our caregiver family and are committed to providing the flexibility you need, no matter what life brings. A caregiver in this position works 3 – 12 hour shifts 7:00am – 7:00pm or 7:00pm – 7:00am. 72 hours per pay period.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • If in a Critical Care area an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) Certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment
  • External applicants must have two years recent related nursing experience
  • Internal applicants with less than two years’ experience but post orientation /90 day probationary period could be considered with Chief Nursing Officer level review and approval
  • Successfully pass all prescreen competency assessments
  • Will consider licensed military RN experience
