About The Position

The RN Shift Manager in Behavioral Health uses nursing-process, organizational, and leadership skills to coordinate staff services for patients during the designated shift. The role ensures that patient care is appropriate to the age and developmental level of patients served. The manager assesses unit staffing needs and collaborates with the staffing coordinator, Nurse Director, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor to help ensure patient needs are met. The position reports to the Director of Patient Care Services.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of inpatient psychiatric experience or equivalent.
• Current California RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Valid California driver's license and proof of automotive insurance.
• Behavioral Management Training as mandated by the hospital.
