Ogallala Community Hospital is looking for a Registered Nurse Service Line Lead in Ogallala, Nebraska. We have a Service Line Lead opportunity for our MedSurg department, may float to our WIS and our ED departments. These position's are 40-hours per week with two 12-hour bedside shifts and two 8-hour paper shifts where you will manage handling Verge reports, staffing issues/concerns, equipment issues/concerns and participation in relevant committees. POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for supporting nursing leadership as well as planning and providing clinical support to patients and staff in a specific service line (ie: Med/Surg; OB; ED; etc.). This role performs under the guidance of the Associate Director, RN and collaborates with all other RN Service Line Leads to support the quality and continuity of services throughout the facility. This position coordinates oversight of quality, risk management, safety and nursing standards and collaborates with Clinical Education to coordinate and support the on-boarding and precepting of newly hired nurses within the designated service line.
