About The Position

The Sepsis Coordinator is primarily an administrative position. The coordinator serves as a resource person for diverse care needs of patients, assisting patients seamlessly navigate throughout the sepsis program with primary focus on patient safety and satisfaction. This position assists the system manager in all assigned duties including but not limited to program development, building patient and provider relations, data collection and marketing. The Stroke Program Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of clinical, educational, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the stroke program. The Stroke Coordinator serves as a clinical resource person for all areas caring for stroke patients. Assist with development and application of evidenced base nursing practice for high risk disease patient populations. Responsible for assisting coordination of Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification accreditation, rounding on stroke related diagnosis to ensure compliance with clinical outcome indicators.
