About The Position
Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children, and adolescents with a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, in a modern and well-appointed facility. They offer inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, on Florida’s Space Coast, offers numerous activities and a friendly community. This role is for a Temp Registered Nurse (RN) with 12-hour shifts available (7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM).
Requirements
- Current Licensure to practice nursing in Florida.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Document and reassess any significant changes in the patient's condition in compliance with facility policy.
- Prioritize and formulate a plan of care based on patient assessment and according to policy.
- Prescribe and coordinate nursing care to patients during the episode of care.
- Comply with established measures for infection control, OSHA regulations, and risk management.
