About The Position

As a Seasonal RN, you align with our nursing model, manage patient care, evaluate, recognize, create, implement care plans. Monitor patient progress is also vital. Your knowledge will help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications. You will use your expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment. This is phase I and II recovery. Staffing ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients. Shift is 9a-9p, 3 weekdays per week. This 9-9 shift works 1-2 days per week as “late RN” and could stay past 9:00 pm or until all cases come out of procedure areas.

Requirements

  • A degree from a recognized nursing program or two years of relevant work experience
  • A minimum of (1) one year's experience in the field of nursing
  • A valid Registered Nurse license
  • The ability to obtain a Basic Life Support certification within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU or ED experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Cardiovascular experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Using good judgment and clinical reasoning, conduct thorough assessments following practice standards.
  • Identify patient and family needs, then develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans accordingly. Make adjustments as needed.
  • Creating safe, therapeutic environments for patients, families, and staff.
  • Managing emotional and physical pain to promote recovery and prevent unnecessary suffering.
  • Monitor patient progress is also vital.
  • Help patients navigate the healthcare system safely, reducing complications.
  • Use expertise to understand patient needs and the healthcare environment.
