About The Position
UF Health Leesburg Hospital is a regional medical center offering cardiovascular care, orthopedics, minimally invasive robotic surgery, emergency care, stroke treatment, labor and delivery, and other health care services. This is a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse position in the Med/Surg Resource Pool and is eligible for a sign-on bonus. Under the direction of the Director or charge nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to facilitate patient care. The RN makes nursing assessments and diagnoses, formulates care plans based on diagnoses, and implements and evaluates plans of care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Florida Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years of recent inpatient Med/Surg experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient care using the nursing process.
