About The Position

Join a busy Renal Vascular / Medical-Surgical unit providing care for adult patients with complex medical needs. The RN will deliver direct bedside care, conduct assessments, manage treatments, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team. This role requires strong time management, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a high patient-volume environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Experience accepted from: LTAC, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient Rehab, Corrections
• Acute care experience not required, but bedside/high patient-ratio experience strongly preferred
• Active Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required (BSN preferred)
• BLS (AHA) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale required within 30 days of hire
• Must meet vaccination requirements per local/state/federal regulations (exemptions considered where applicable)

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Acute care experience not required, but bedside/high patient-ratio experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments each shift
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Document care accurately and in a timely manner
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and care plans
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
• Manage care efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume unit
