About The Position

This position is for an RN in Acute Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine. The role involves working with an interdisciplinary team to care for a diverse patient population including those with Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, Heart Failure, and other complex conditions. The nurse will provide clinical and emotional support to patients and their families to foster independence.

Requirements

• 2 years Med Surg experience
• NYS RN License
• AHA BLS certification
• Telemetry Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Work with an interdisciplinary team caring for a variety of patients including Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, Heart Failure and other complex patients.
• Offer clinical and emotional encouragement to patients and their families to help them gain independence.
