About The Position

Texas Health Plano is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Neuro Special Procedures (Neuro IR) Hybrid Suite team. This is a full-time position with day shifts, offering the opportunity to work in a newly built, state-of-the-art hybrid neuro room. The role involves providing exceptional patient care within a comprehensive stroke team, gaining knowledge of cerebral and vascular anatomy and interventions. The department also offers cross-training opportunities into H&V Departments. Texas Health Plano is a 386-bed, full-service hospital serving North Texas, recognized for its advanced surgical services, Level II Trauma Facility status, Level IV NICU and Level IV Maternal facility designation, and a DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Program. It is a four-time Magnet-designated hospital with numerous other accreditations and awards.

Requirements

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
RN—Registered Nurse or Completion of an RN Residency program required
BCLS -Basic Cardiac Life Support -Prior to providing independent patient care & maintained quarterly—required
ACLS-Advance Cardiac Life Support- within 90 days required
PALS-Pediatric Advance Life Support- within in 90 days required
CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency Required

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Cross training into H&V Departments if desired
