RN/Registered Nurse- Med/Surg Observation
About The Position
Trinity Health Livonia is seeking an experienced Canadian Registered Nurse for a Full-Time position on their Med/Surg Observation unit. This role involves 12-hour night shifts, with a weekend and holiday rotation. The unit, 4W, is a 27-bed telemetry-capable Medical-Surgical floor that cares for patients with a variety of conditions including hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, UTIs, and COPD. The Registered Nurse is accountable for managing patient care, coordinating and evaluating care, and delegating patient activities through the nursing process and therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment.
Requirements
- Associates degree in Nursing required.
- BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
- BLS required.
- Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
- Must be computer proficient.
- Excellent customer service skills.
