About The Position

We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the Common Spirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system. The position accepts applications on an ongoing basis and does not have a posting date. The position assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. What is Enterprise Pool? Enterprise Pool 2: Full and Part Time schedules available Variable shifts available- includes Nights and Days Base rate + $6.75/hr pool differential + Eligible for evening $2.75/hr, night $5.75/hr, and weekend $2.00 differentials Assigned to one of four zones. Zone is determined based on your home location. Must be able to travel all hospitals assigned within that zone. Hospital facilities included in the Regional Zone: Holy Cross Davis (Layton), Holy Cross Jordan Valley (West Jordan), Holy Cross West Valley, Holy Cross Mountain Point (Lehi) 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float Schedule hours that fit your needs and work/life balance including partial shifts Opportunity to float to several Magnet®-designated hospitals and a variety of units, specialties, and leaders to find your true passions and further your career Managed by compassionate, empathic leaders whose primary goal is supporting you Live and work in some of the most beautiful locations in Utah Unit Type/Specialty Areas: Women’s Services - Labor and Delivery/LDRP

Requirements

  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area
  • 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float
  • Must be able to travel all hospitals assigned within that zone.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities
