About The Position

Radiology Nursing is staffed at 5 locations, Butterworth Hospital, Blodgett Hospital, Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion, Cascade, and North Evergreen. Our team consists of highly skilled and trained Registered Nurses and nurse techs. We support all modalities in Radiology for special diagnostic studies and procedures, pre and post op services for IR, CT, MRI sedation and several other services. We see over 25,000 patients a year and in IR alone, there are over 250 different procedure types. Our RNs are responsible for prepping and recovering the IR/CT/MRI patients, administering medications for certain modality specific studies, monitoring pacemakers in MRI areas, monitoring overall patient status, and/or monitoring patients during other studies and procedures within Radiology. About Lemmen Holton Cancer Center We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer.

Requirements

• Associates in Nursing Required
• Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required with 90 days
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months

Nice To Haves

• Specialty Certification highly recommended within 2 years
