In this role, you'll partner with leaders, physicians, and frontline staff to drive performance improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana RN License
- 2+ years of nursing experience in the applicable service line
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Specialty certification (or willingness to obtain within an agreed timeframe)
- ADN, BSN, or Master's degree in a healthcare-related field
Nice To Haves
- Experience in quality improvement, accreditation, regulatory compliance, or clinical education
- Experience with performance improvement methodologies, simulation, Cerner, and e-learning platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead and support quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives across the service line.
- Monitor performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement evidence-based best practices.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to drive decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Design and facilitate educational programs and interdisciplinary improvement activities.
- Collaborate with leaders, providers, and team members to achieve quality and patient safety goals.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for staff on quality, safety, and professional standards.
