Requirements
- Active AZ RN/LPN License
- Infection Preventionist Certification
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong QA, compliance, and long-term care knowledge (OBRA)
- Data analysis and performance improvement experience
- Excellent communication and training skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee QA programs, audits, QAPI/PIPs, and survey readiness
- Review CASPER reports, analyze data, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and investigate non-compliance
- Conduct infection control rounds; track and trend infections (McGeer criteria)
- Lead Infection Control Committee and initiatives
- Develop and deliver staff education, training, and competency validation
