About The Position
Seneca Health Care Center is seeking an experienced and organized Registered Nurse to oversee and coordinate its Pulmonary Program within its skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. This role is ideal for an RN who enjoys leadership, interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and providing advanced clinical support to residents with respiratory and pulmonary needs. The position offers a Monday-Friday schedule, day shift hours, competitive pay, and a supportive clinical leadership team in an advanced skilled nursing environment, allowing for a direct impact on resident outcomes and quality of care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in New York State
Nice To Haves
- Previous skilled nursing, rehab, pulmonary, respiratory, or subacute experience
- Strong assessment and clinical coordination skills
- Leadership and communication abilities
- Experience with care planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Pulmonary Program
- Coordinate pulmonary-focused resident care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory providers, therapy, and nursing teams
- Monitor residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions
- Support clinical education and pulmonary best practices for staff
- Assist with admissions, assessments, and care coordination for pulmonary residents
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives
