About The Position

As a child and adolescent unit for patients 5-18 years of age who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis, we are seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry. The unit focuses on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions. RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care.

Requirements

• NYS RN License
• 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
• BLS (AHA only)

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care to patients.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals.
• Facilitate group offerings such as Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups.
• Administer psychopharmacological interventions.
