About The Position
This is a full-time position with benefits (64-hrs. per pay period) for an 8-hour Evening shift, located in Hillcrest. The position works from 3pm to 11pm, requiring work every other weekend and holidays. Requirements
- One (1) year of RN experience
- Current CA Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Previous RN experience in Behavioral Health and/or ED experience
Responsibilities
- Providing direct patient care, observation and management of behavioral health patients.
- Assessment, plan and implement care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
- Takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team.
- Manage de-escalation of behavioral disturbances
