About The Position
Work Schedule: 90% FTE, Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm. No weekends. No holidays. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. As a Registered Nurse on our transplant team, you'll care for patients with complex medical needs while collaborating with nationally recognized physicians and multidisciplinary experts dedicated to advancing transplant care. We are seeking a Procedure Transplant Clinic RN to: Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients before and after organ transplantation in an ambulatory clinic setting. Educate patients and families on transplant care, medications, recovery, and long-term health management. Assess patient needs, coordinate care, and manage complex clinical concerns Administer infusion therapies and provide nursing care for patients undergoing transplant biopsies and other specialized procedures. Collaborate with transplant physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless, high-quality care. Advocate for patients and families while fostering a compassionate, patient- and family-centered care experience.
Requirements
- 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience
- Previous moderate sedation experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience
- Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work
- Experience in an academic medical setting
- Previous moderate sedation experience
- Certification in area of specialty
