RN PRN Hospice
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will deliver quality compassionate care to patients during the final stages of their lives, established by the plan of care, the interdisciplinary team, attending physician, Medical Director, patient, patient's family and/or caregiver. This role involves supervising the care provided by Licensed Practical Nurses and Hospice Aides. As a skilled professional staff member, whether a direct employee of the agency or under arrangement, the RN is expected to contribute to all phases of the QAPI program and participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessments of patients.
Requirements
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
- Two (2) years experiences
- CPR certified with American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
- Strong communication skills, both oral and in writing, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate good customer relations skills and a commitment to providing quality service
- Acceptance and ability to demonstrate support the core values and goals of Agency
- Must have a current valid drivers license, auto liability insurance and reliable transportation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing

- Hospice experience preferred
