About The Position

We are hiring experienced Pre-Op and PACU Registered Nurses (RNs) looking for flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and rewarding opportunities with leading surgical facilities across Ohio. Assignments are available throughout the Canton, Ohio, and surrounding communities for GI: Endoscopy. Opportunities include both flexible per diem shifts and contract assignments ranging from 4 to 13 weeks, with compensation based on the assignment selected.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 12 months of recent Pre-Op and/or PACU in GI: Endoscopy
• Current BLS certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

• ACLS preferred where applicable
• Experience in ambulatory surgery or hospital surgical services preferred
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced perioperative environment
• Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and exceptional patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional pre-operative and post-anesthesia patient care
• Complete patient assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures
• Monitor patients throughout recovery and identify changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative teams
• Accurately document patient care and maintain regulatory compliance
• Deliver safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced surgical environment
