About The Position
This is a Part time, benefited PreOp- PACU position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital. It is a varied shift. M-F with a start time between 0530-1000. No weekends, holidays or call. Incentive of $2K for eligible new hires. Join our Ambulatory Surgery center as a Registered Nurse (RN) with our PreOp - PACU recovery team at Scripps Memorial Hospital (Ximed) La Jolla.
Requirements
- One (1) year of RN outpatient experience within an Ambulatory Surgery Center
- California Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- 2 or more years in an ASC
- PreOp- PACU, ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage pre-op admissions and all surgery prep functions
- PACU recovery of patients through discharge.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
