About The Position

Assists in provision of nursing care to patients in an Ambulatory Surgical Center setting. Assumes total responsibility for patient care in accordance with physician's orders and centers policies. The Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse is responsible for contacting incoming patients to obtain and review health history. Analyzes and assesses clinical data related to the patient’s anesthesia risk and appropriateness of ASC site of service.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN License.
  • CPR required.
  • ACLS required.
  • Minimum one year in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative surgical patient care.
  • Experience in Electronic Medical Records and other software such as One Medical Passport and HST.
  • Must demonstrate previous experience in coordinating other RNs, communicating successfully with physician offices.
