About The Position

The PACU RN team is responsible for being available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with either scheduled shifts or being on call with a maximum 45 minute response time. The moments immediately following anesthesia are some of the most important in a patient's surgical journey. As a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN at Logan Health, you'll provide skilled, attentive care as patients transition from anesthesia through recovery, helping ensure they are safe, comfortable, and ready for the next step in their care. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, enjoys caring for a diverse patient population, and knows how to stay calm and think critically when patient conditions change quickly. Our PACU nurses work closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, procedural teams, and fellow nurses to provide individualized care for post-procedural and post-anesthesia patients. From assessment and intervention to pain management, education, and discharge planning, you'll play an essential role in creating a safe and positive recovery experience.
