About The Position
The RN assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN applies knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other health care team members to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required depending on the specialty area.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.
- Multi State Compact RN License.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree.
- One year of experience in the area of clinical specialty.
