Schedule: Part-Time Days | 32 hours per week About Us - OR Midwest Freeman Midwest Surgery Center is an Outpatient Surgery Center with two OR suites, providing Orthopaedic and Plastic surgery Patients benefit from cutting-edge technology, easy accessibility and convenience and cost effective care Our staff works Monday- Friday, has all major holidays off, no weekends, and no call requirement What You’ll Do In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently performs systematic and continuous assessment of the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families; plans and implements appropriate interventions; and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care. Ability to care for patients and float between Preop, OR, PACU. Freeman in Joplin, Missouri, is a 460-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive healthcare services to an area that includes more than 450,000 from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Freeman Health System includes Freeman Hospital West, Freeman Hospital East, Freeman Neosho Hospital and Ozark Center – the area’s largest provider of behavioral health services – as well as two urgent care clinics, dozens of physician clinics and a variety of specialty services.

Requirements

  • AHA ACLS within 180 days.
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
  • Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
  • Perioperative RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.

  • PALS Provider preferred.

Responsibilities
