About The Position
Registered Nurse needed for a mixed Pediatric/MST unit, caring for both adult and pediatric patients. The role includes floating to the MST unit as needed when the pediatric/MST unit census decreases.
Requirements
- Experience working with children required
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts before signing contract
- Ability to adapt to a floating schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a mixed unit setting
- Float within the hospital as required, including to the MCU, MST, and birthing units
- Read telemetry strips for adult MST patients
- Administer high flow therapy and manage bi-pap for chronic conditions
