About The Position
This individual will be scheduled in the Children's department but may float to NICU as needed. The assignment involves routine Pediatric stable medical-surgical patients, ages 0-18, including intermediate Peds, ICU feeder grower overflow, respiratory, diabetic, seizure, and more.
Requirements
- 2 years of Pediatric/Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
- Ability to titrate drips; experience with Tylenol, Keppra, and Insulin.
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients.
- Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
- Float to NICU and newborn nursery as census fluctuates.
