RN Pediatric Private Duty Nurse – School Days or Flexible Overnights
About The Position
Castor Home Health Solutions is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide 1:1 pediatric private duty nursing care for a teenager in Monee, Illinois. This role offers flexible scheduling options, including school-day shifts (Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM) where the nurse will accompany the patient to school, and flexible overnight shifts. This is a unique opportunity to build a long-term relationship with one patient and their family, providing personalized care in a home and school setting. The position emphasizes consistent cases, strong clinical support, and making a tangible difference in a patient's life. Support includes 24/7 clinical assistance, paid hands-on training, and a laptop for charting.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate, dependable nurses
- Nurses who enjoy relationship-based care

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care for a teenager
- Attend school with the patient on scheduled day shifts, if applicable
- Support overnight care needs, if working overnight shifts
- Monitor vitals, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
- Support the patient and family through compassionate, dependable care
- Complete simple real-time charting during your shift
