RN Pediatric Practice Nurse
About The Position
Baystate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their PEDIATRIC team. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus for candidates with at least one year of outpatient practice experience. The role involves providing independent quality triage and patient care, utilizing strong assessment skills, point-of-care testing, and quality assurance checks. The nurse will establish and implement care plans, set priorities, and coordinate patient care with input from patients/families and providers. This position requires building on existing knowledge to manage more complex diagnoses and patients, ensuring patient access to care and success. Developing patient trust and engaging patients/families in their care and treatment is crucial, along with understanding social and cultural differences that may impede care.
Requirements
- Massachusetts license as an RN
- BLS CPR certified
- Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & handle multiple tasks/priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff
- Diploma in Nursing

- Experience in pediatric specialty preferred
