RN Pediatric Nurse – Evening Shift
About The Position
At Castor Home Health Solutions, we are looking for a compassionate RN to provide 1:1 pediatric nursing care for a teenager in the home. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who wants consistent evening hours, meaningful relationship-based care, and the chance to make a difference for one patient and family. This case offers steady evening shifts from 4:00 PM–11:00 PM, with 24–32 hours available each week. It is a strong fit for an RN looking for dependable hours without overnight shifts. Our nurses provide personalized care in the comfort of the patient’s home while building trusted relationships with patients and families. We carefully match nurses with the right-fit family for long-term success, and we provide paid hands-on training, 24/7 clinical support, and a laptop in the home for easy charting.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license
- CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate, dependable nurses
- Nurses who enjoy consistent, relationship-based care

Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled pediatric nursing care in the home
- Support the daily care needs of a teenager
- Monitor vitals, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
- Support the patient and family through compassionate, dependable care
- Complete simple real-time charting during your shift
