About The Position

This position is for an RN in the Pediatric Nephrology Clinic, working 90% FTE Monday through Friday, day shift with typical hours between 8 am-5 pm. The role involves providing care to children with kidney conditions, offering high-quality nursing care via telephone and MyChart, assisting with care coordination and clinic procedures, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team for positive patient outcomes. The RN will also provide education and guidance to patients and families, utilizing evidence and science to guide practice. The position is located at the American Family Children’s Hospital.

Requirements

6 months of RN experience Required
Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Relevant RN experience Preferred
Applicable clinical certification Preferred

Responsibilities

Provide care to children with common and complex kidney conditions
